"I would read your whiteboard in your room that told me all about you. I could talk to you about you, your family, and hobbies, so you would feel comfortable with me in your care. I would sit with you so you would not "die" alone and all while holding your hand and resting my head on your arm. I caressed your arm when you were taking your last "breath." I talked for you to relieve your fears and let you know you were in good "hands." I let you know what the day was like outside and always gave you "encouraging" words. Humming a tune to "soothe" your pain."
